Each paid Shopify account receives 60 minutes of free design time from Shopify support. This design time can be used to add specific features to a theme that can help your store make sales.

The following customizations can be made to Simple by Shopify support. Review the description of each supported customization to determine which might help your business.

Add banner image to header

Design time: 15 minutes

By default, you can't add a banner image to the header.

This customization adds an image to the header that displays beside the logo and across the full width of the header.

If you request this customization, then you should plan to use a banner image that is shorter than it is wide. Otherwise, the banner image pushes the main content of the store far down the screen, which can lead to lower conversion rates.

This customization should be avoided on stores that already use a slideshow section or other image section on the homepage to highlight information.

Change the alignment of the logo

Design time: 15 minutes

By default, the logo is aligned to the left in the header.

This customization aligns the logo to the center or the right.

This customization works well for stores with specific design requirements.

Avoid this customization on stores that don’t have specific branding requirements that require a centered logo, because a left-aligned logo is more easily discoverable by customers.
