Standard size and special oversize
The shipping weight is calculated for each unit by adding the packaging weight to the unit weight. Shipping weight in the small standard and large standard size tiers under 1 lb is calculated by rounding up to the nearest whole ounce. For the remaining size tiers, the shipping weight (see details below) is calculated by rounding up to the nearest whole pound.
Large standard-size items weighing more than 1 lb, small oversize, medium oversize, and large oversize
The shipping weight is calculated for each unit by adding the packaging weight to the greater of the unit weight or the dimensional weight. The dimensional weight is equal to the unit volume (length x width x height) divided by 139. The dimensional weight for oversize items assumes a minimum width and height of 2 inches. The total shipping weight for each unit is rounded up to the nearest pound.
The shipping weight is then used to calculate the fulfillment fee based on the rates listed above.
