We would like to adopt the terms of “ payment by instalments” for our present transaction.

8.I propose issuing a time draft for US $50 ,000 covering the value of the first partial shipment.

10.This time draft will fall due on 20th September, 1980.
11.You are kindly requested to “accept this draft by signing on the back.
12.The time draft is to be countersigned by the Bank of China, Beijing , certifying that your signature is true and valid.
13.This time draft represents the first instalment and should be given to us up on the signing of the contract.
14.With this time draft in our possession , we'll be in a position to arrange for a loan from our state bank.
15.We'll honour our draft when it becomes due , only if all contract stipulations have been duly implemented by you.
16.Our corporation always strictly carries out the contracts which it has entered into with foreign buyers and sellers.

22.You should produce a similar Letter of Guarantee signed by two banks jointly.
23.I've already made arrangement with our bankers about the Letter of Guarantee and we can produce it at any time.
24.We hope our investment can be recouped safely and quickly.
