With a proper understanding of these metrics, you can utilise them to raise your conversion rate, and improve areas that are not performing as well. 

Definition

Conversion refers to a shopper making a purchase after visiting your shop.

Toggle your metrics under Product Performance to get insight on what is affecting your conversion rates. Metrics for conversion rates include: Add to Cart, Placed Orders and Paid Orders.

Tip

If your Add to Cart conversion rate is higher than your Placed Orders conversion rate, it could indicate that your shipping is too expensive. 

Consider adding a shipping promotion to attract more placed orders.
