什么是超额收费,这是怎么发生的?

多收运费是指Shopee的集成渠道收取的运费高于卖方根据重量或体积重量(尺寸)(以较高者为准)的预期运费时,卖方应承担的过量运费。单击此处了解如何计算集成3PL的运费。


3PL收取的运费与卖方预期的运费之间存在差异的原因可能是由于以下原因:


1.对订单的实际重量/尺寸有误解

3PL将根据包裹的实际重量或尺寸收取运费。一些额外的重量或尺寸可能会导致向订单收取更高的运费。


例l:实际重量

物品:电子物品

产品重量:19.5kg

预计订单重量:L号(10kg-20kg)

实际订单重量:包括外部包装的实际重量-20.5kg = XL号


范例ll:尺寸(仅适用于忍者车)

物品:电子物品

产品重量:5kg

包裹尺寸(长x宽x高):(80cm x 80cm x 80cm)

预计订单重量:S号(0kg-5kg)

实际订单重量:包含外部包装的体积重量:(80 + 80 + 80)= 240 =尺寸XL


2.系统/人为错误

3PL错误地收取了错误的运费,原本认为该费用要低得多。


例如:Ninja Van Order

订单“ A”的运费应根据尺寸S($ 4)收取,但由于某些问题,运费根据尺寸XL($ 16)收取。


为了缓解这个问题,Shopee 提供了一个特性来帮助标记出由3PL 收取高运费的订单

当第三方物流收取异常高的运费,这可能会导致代管被释放给卖家是负面的。


例子:

这个项目的价值是0.50美元。买方支付了1.49美元的运费。

然而,第三方物流收取运费16美元,造成了14.51美元的扣除,这将从卖方的代管因此造成的代管是负数。

Shipping Fee Overcharged

What is overcharge and how does this happen?

Overcharge is the excessive shipping fee borne by Sellers when the shipping fee charged by Shopee's Integrated Channel is higher than the seller expected shipping fee based on the weight or volumetric weight (dimensions) depending on whichever is higher. The reason there's a difference between the shipping fee charged by 3PL and seller expected shipping fee could be due to the following reasons:


1. Misconception on actual weight/dimension of the order

3PL would charge shipping fee based on the parcel's actual weight or dimensions. A few additional weights or dimensions could cause an order to be charged a higher tier of shipping fee.


Example l: Actual Weight

Item: Electronic item

Item weight: 19.5kg

Expected order weight: Size L (10kg - 20kg)

Actual order weight: Actual weight inclusive of external packaging - 20.5kg = Size XL


Example ll: Dimensions (Only applicable for Ninja Van)

Item: Electronic item

Item weight: 5kg

Parcel Dimension (L x W x H): (80cm x 80cm x 80cm)

Expected order weight: Size S (0kg - 5kg)

Actual order weight: Volumetric weight inclusive of external packaging: (80+80+80) = 240 = Size XL


2. System/Human Error

3PL mistakenly charges the wrong shipping fee where it is supposed to charge significantly lower than that.


Example: Ninja Van Order

Shipping fee for Order "A" supposed to be charged based on size S ($4), but due to certain issues the shipping fees was charged based on Size XL ($16).


To help mitigate this issue, Shopee has put in place a feature to help flagged out orders with high Shipping Fee charged by 3PL

When 3PL charges an unusually high Shipping Fee, this may result in the escrow being released to the seller to be negative.


Example:

The item value for this is $0.50. The buyer has paid a shipping fee of $1.49. However, 3PL charges a shipping fee of $16 causing an deduction of $14.51 which will be deducted from the seller's escrow hence causing the escrow to be negative. If the correct shipping fee here is $4, the overcharge amount is $12.


To avoid this from happening, the system will flag out orders with unusually high shipping fees and the escrow will be withheld until further actions are taken. Shopee will then check with out logistic partners to confirm the actual weight/size and shipping of the order to validate what the system had calculated.

Once 3PL has confirmed, we will update the new shipping fee accordingly and your escrow will be released. This process of validation may take 3-5 working days. Thus, we seek your cooperation to:

  1. Ensure the necessary field (i.e. dimensions of the item) are filled in.

  2. Weight and Dimension of the product that's input in the product details page are correctly keyed in (i.e. Seller had factored in the packaging in the dimension) so validation process will be facilitated.
