Image tips
Below are some tips for displaying images using Minimal.
Product images
Higher resolution photos will look more polished and professional in the Minimal theme, and so we suggest that you aim for images that are at least 1024 x 1024px. Your images can be as large as 2048 x 2048px.
Very large images are particularly important if you want to use the zoom-in function.
When product images are shown side by side on collection pages, they might have different sizes. To make your images appear to be the same size, you need to use the same width to height ratio for all images you upload that will become featured images for your products.
If the main product image on your product page seems too small, then you can adjust the layout to increase its size.
Increase the size of images on product pages
If you have uploaded high resolution images, but the main product image on your product page seems too small, then consider enabling the wide layout and changing the product thumbnail position.
Enable wide layout
PC：
From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes.
Next to Minimal, click Customize.
Go to Theme settings > Layout.
Check Enable wide layout.
Click Save.
iPhone：
From the Shopify app, tap Store.
In the Sales channels section, tap Online Store.
Tap Manage themes.
Next to Minimal, tap Customize.
Tap Edit.
Go to Theme settings > Layout.
