EDT is calculated using the sum of how long it takes for sellers to ship out their orders, and how long it takes logistics providers to deliver. 

Given that local logistics providers take similar amounts of time for delivery, the time it takes for sellers to ship out orders becomes a big factor behind who buyers choose to buy from.
