一般来说，外贸服装QC应在检验结束时提交检验报告。这份检验报告直接反映了整批服装质量和包装的基本情况。QC应如实、准确地描述检验结果，并根据自己的经验提出解决方案。

下面是英文服装检验报告（garment inspection report）中一些常见的"万能"单词和用法：

1、uneven（adj.）——不均匀、不一致

在服装验货英语中，uneven 可表示不等长、不对称、不平伏、不均匀。

1）不等长：例如，在描述衬衫的左右门襟长度时，可以使用 uneven placket length；长短袖——uneven sleeve length；领尖长短不一——uneven collar point；

2）不对称：例如，领不对称——uneven collar point/end；褶长不对称——uneven pleats length；

3）不平伏：例如，省尖不平伏——uneven dart point；

4）不均匀：例如，线迹不均匀——uneven stitching；下摆宽度不均——uneven hem。

其用法也很简单：uneven＋部位/工艺。这个词在验货英语中很常见，含义也很丰富，所以一定要掌握！

2、poor——服装验货英语中表示：不好、不良、差

用法：poor＋工艺（部位）；poorly shaped＋部位。

1）做工差——poor workmanship；

2）熨烫不良——poor pressing；

3）缝制不良——poor sewing；

4）袋形不好——poorly shaped pkt；

5）腰部不好——poor waistband finishing；

6）回针不良——poor back stitch。

3、missed/missing sth at＋部位——衣服的某个部位缺少某物

missed/missing＋工序——漏做某个工序。

1）漏车缝——missed stitching；

2）欠垫纸——missed tissue paper；

3）缺纽扣——missing one button at the left cuff。

4、衣服某个部位——扭曲、拉伸、起波、弯曲

wrinkled/twisted/stretched/distorted/wavy/puckering/curve/crooked＋部位。

1）夹圈起皱——puckering armhole；

2）下摆扭曲——twisted hem；里布起扭——twisted lining；

3）线迹起波——wavy stitching；

4）缝起皱——puckered seam。

5、misplaced sth at＋部位——某物在服装的某个工序位置放错

1）绣花错位——misplaced embroidery；

2）肩垫错位——misplaced shoulder pads；

3）魔术贴错位——misplaced velcro tapes。

6、wrong/incorrect＋sth——某物用错

1）折叠尺寸不对——wrong folding size；

2）挂牌错——wrong hangtag；

3）主标/洗标错误——wrong main label/care label。

7、______ mark——表示某种痕迹

1）pencil mark：铅笔印；

2）glue mark：胶水痕；

3）fold mark：折痕；

4）wrinkled mark：起皱痕；

5）crease mark：皱痕。

8、起吊：hiking at＋部位，或者：部位＋ride up

9、easing——吃势

用法：ease on＋部位；uneven easing——某部位吃势不均。比如袖子、拉链、衣领都要求"吃势均匀"。如果在检查过程中发现某个部位吃得太少/太多/不均匀，我们就该用到easing（吃势）这个词。

1）前中领圈吃得太多——too much easing at CF neckline；

2）袖山吃势不均——uneven easing at sleeve cap；

3）前中拉链吃得太少——too little easing at front zipper。

10、线迹：线迹＋部位——表示某个部位使用什么线迹

SN stitch＝single needle stitch，车单线；DN stitch＝double needle stitch，双线；triple needle stitch，三线；edge stitch，车边线；overlock with 3/4/5 threads——三/四/五线折边。

1）SN stitch at front yoke；

2）edge stitch at top collar。
